Automated Broadly Tunable Femtosecond Optical Parametric Oscillator with Selectable Pulse Duration
OPIUM Auto is the highly versatile automated femtosecond OPO of the OPIUM family. It provides high ease of use, while at the same time offering extraordinary performance and allowing a high level of flexibility to the user.
Tuning is simple. Thanks to the wavelength tracking automation feature, the user can easily modify the wavelength across the Visible and IR ranges. A fully-dedicated PC user-interface is available, which offers useful information and a graphical display of the spectral shape of the emitted pulses.
Cavity alignment is aided by a specially designed fully-dedicated alignment cavity, which greatly simplifies the process. Additionally, alignment is performed using Visible radiation, significantly easier and more comfortable to detect than IR.
Pulse duration levels can be adjusted within a broad range, using the specially designed dispersion compensation module inside the OPO. Near-transform-limited pulses, even shorter than the pump pulses, can be generated.
A selection of OPIUM Auto configurations are available depending on the wavelength coverage of interest.
